Privacy notice

This website is run by AL-BURAQ UNMANNED AERIAL VEHICLE SERVICES ("Al Buraq Drones", "we"), M39, New Al Safiya Building, Abu Hail, Deira, Dubai, PO Box 86648, United Arab Emirates. We decide how the details you send us are used, and we follow the UAE Personal Data Protection Law (Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021).

For any question about your personal data, or to use your rights, email info@alburaqdrones.ae or call +971 4 399 2420.

What we collect

Only what you type into the enquiry form: your name, email address and message (required), and, if you choose, your company, phone number and what the enquiry is about. We add the date and time, and a reference such as ABD-WEB-7K3M9Q so you can quote it to us.

Please do not send ID numbers, bank details or health information through the form.

Why we use it

To answer your enquiry and, if you ask for one, to prepare a quotation. We use your details because you asked us to reply. We do not use them for marketing, we do not add you to a mailing list, and we do not sell or rent them to anyone.

Who sees it

Your enquiry is emailed to our team: sales, business development, operations and management. Our hosting provider runs the server that stores it for us. We share it with no one else, unless the law requires us to.

On our web server

The website saves a copy of each enquiry so that none is lost if an email fails. It is kept in a private folder that cannot be reached from the internet, and is deleted automatically 90 days after it arrives.

In our email

The email copy is kept in our company mailboxes for as long as we need it to deal with your enquiry and any work that follows, and then deleted, unless the law requires us to keep it as a business record (for example, when an enquiry becomes an order).

The automatic reply

When you send the form we email you a short confirmation. To stop the form being misused to send mail to strangers, we limit how many are sent: for one day we keep a one-way code (a "hash") made from your email address and your internet (IP) address, not the addresses themselves.

In the UAE

Our website and our company email are hosted on a server in Dubai. The connection to this website is encrypted (HTTPS), and the saved enquiries can be read only from our hosting account.

Nothing follows you

This website sets no cookies and uses no analytics, advertising or tracking tools. Its pages load nothing from other companies: even its fonts come from our own server. The one exception is the enquiry form: when you start filling it in, it loads a security check from Cloudflare that tells people apart from spam robots. Cloudflare sees your IP address and browser details for that check only, under its own privacy policy. The moving terrain on the home page runs in your browser and sends nothing back.

Server logs

Like every web server, ours records each request it receives (the IP address, the date and time, the page and the browser type). These technical logs are used only to keep the site secure and working.

Links to other services

Our WhatsApp, Google Maps, Instagram and LinkedIn links take you to those services. They send nothing until you follow them; once you do, that company's own privacy policy applies.

You can ask us at any time to:

• tell you what personal data we hold about you, and give you a copy;
• correct it if it is wrong or incomplete;
• delete it, or stop or limit how we use it.

Email info@alburaqdrones.ae. We may ask you to confirm who you are before we act, and we will reply within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to the UAE Data Office.

If we change this notice, we will update it on this page and change the date at the top.
